My husband and I want to thank you for making our wedding day so very special. Being a second marriage for both of us, neither wanted a big wedding, but both of us had family and a few special friends who wanted to be present for our special day. Our wedding was anything but “normal” in a lot of ways. We had a certain date that was meaningful to us that we’d picked to tie the knot, which happened to fall on a Wednesday of all days. Also my dog was going to be the ring bearer. When you’re a ‘mature couple’, you can do eccentric things like that and get away with it! But the really great part was, Rev. Marlo was perfectly fine with a Wednesday wedding and the dog-ring bearer! Also at the very last minute our perfect location fell through and we had to change plans – several times, and Marlo was perfectly calm and flexible. Then it began to pour rain and we changed plans again and held the ceremony in our home and things were flawless! Marlo set up everything in our living room within a matter of minutes and we have beautiful photos of the ceremony in front of our French doors with the rain pouring in the background. Marlo also assisted the photographer, helped straighten my dress, reminded me to hold the bouquet down, and showed us which finger to put the rings on (something you don’t think about until the time comes, and your mind goes blank!).

Thank you so much for helping us through a completely stressful time!! The unexpected move to Florida was not one we anticipated, yet was a great one! Although we cancelled our wedding in Pennsylvania due to the geographical difficulties, we were still able to have such a wonderful wedding. We really couldn't have done it without your help. As if moving from Pennsylvania to Florida wasn't enough, we had to cancel our wedding in PA, and on short noticed planned a wedding on the beach without family and friends. We sacrificed our 200+ wedding in PA for our quiet, quaint wedding on the beach, when all the sudden Flagler and Volusia County suddenly got hit with the "unnamed" rain storm! UGH! What else could have gone wrong? We had over a foot of water in our front yard, and it was still raining. All the while our wedding was supposed to be held on the beach that evening. We were in a panic when we called you. We had no other place to go. While in the midst of doing the wedding errands for the day, we stopped at Ormond Memorial Gardens. The wonderful staff there helped us by allowing to have our wedding there! One more problem......we planned with you our wedding time of 7pm. The Ormond Memorial Gardens offered their services, but they closed at 4:30pm! OH MY GOSH! It was still pouring and we called you. You had other weddings that day and told me that you will do whatever we wanted after 2pm!!! You changed you schedule for us just to accommodate our special day! You truly cared with heart felt emotions that no matter what we were going through, you were going to be apart of making our wedding day special! The photographer changed his plans, we found the place provided by the wonderful staff at the Ormond Memorial Gardens, and.............of course, Reverend Marlo pulled it all together for us! We couldn't be more thankful. You showed empathy, compassion, and generosity. We believe that you truly care! Maybe that's why during our vows, you even shed a tear!! HAHA! You are truly a gift to us and any couple who encounters you and your service. You turned a nightmare of planning MESS into our wonderful day! You stayed the whole time through picture taking and all. You fixed my necklace so it wouldn't be a mess in the picture. You made sure my train was perfectly in place. Basically without you and your help things wouldn't have been PERFECT! We felt like it was a fairytale! THANK you will never be enough to describe our gratitude to you! We truly recommend you and your wonderful services to everyone! Thank you so much for making our day the most memorable day in our lives!

We could not have picked anyone better to marry us, Reverend Marlo was so kind, caring, and was there for us when we had any questions about our big day. She even gave us vows to chose from, which I took parts of three different ones to make vows that we thought were perfect for us and she did not even have a problem with it! When the big day came she was there giving us emotional support and even helped me with my dress while the photographer was taking pictures before the ceremony. When the ceremony began everyone was tearing up and so was Reverend Marlo which said something about her, that she truly cared about us joinging together as one, just like our family did during those special moments.
